- Musicians must be 18 years of age or older.
- Completed and signed application forms must be returned to head office reception desk by Friday, June 22, 2012.
- The first 175 solo or duo acts that apply by Friday, June 22, 2012 (or whichever comes first)
- will be invited to audition at the Canadian National Exhibition on:
- Friday, August 17
- Saturday, August 18
- and Sunday, August 19, 2012
- will be invited to audition at the Canadian National Exhibition on:
- Then, the top 74 acts, as selected by a panel of judges, will be selected to play in the subway system.

- In 1979, eight musicians were selected to perform in eight stations.
- Today, there are 86 musicians performing at 25 stations.

TTC subway musician audition applications available today
The 34th Annual TTC Subway Musicians’ Auditions are coming soon. Application packages are available beginning today at the TTC head office, 1900 Yonge Street, at Davisville Station, Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., or on our website at www.ttc.ca.
The first 175 solo or duo acts that apply by Friday, June 22, 2012 (or whichever comes first) will be invited to audition at the Canadian National Exhibition, on Friday, August 17, Saturday, August 18 and Sunday, August 19, 2012. The top 74 acts, as selected by a panel of judges, will be selected to play in the subway system.
Thirty-three years ago, in 1979, eight musicians were selected to perform in eight stations. Today there are 86 musicians performing at 25 stations.
Musicians must be 18 years of age or older. Completed and signed application forms must be returned to head office reception desk by Friday, June 22, 2012.
