Job and career fair at Scarborough Civic Centre on Monday
The City of Toronto, YWCA Toronto and Progress Career Planning Institute are hosting the annual Job and Career Fair at the Scarborough Civic Centre on Monday. Councillor Michael Thompson (Ward 37 Scarborough Centre), Chair of the Economic Development and Culture Committee, will make opening remarks.

Time: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., opening remarks at 10 a.m.
Location: Scarborough Civic Centre, 150 Borough Drive
About 40 employers from a variety of sectors will offer job seekers hundreds of employment opportunities at the fair. Employers will interview for up to 300 hospitality positions. Training/service providers will share information about their services, and attendees will be able to take advantage of presentations and resumé reviews on-site.
This event will connect job seekers and employers as part of the City of Toronto’s workforce development strategy – helping Torontonians find work and helping businesses secure the skilled employees they need.
