“Come out and share the stories of your daily successes and struggles as a woman, whatever your background.
Join us on International Women’s Day for an evening celebrating the daily lives and struggles of South Asian women, whether they are homemakers, community organizers or working women.
We will share our stories of our activisms and discuss how we can work together to strengthen our spirits in order to take steps towards making a more socially just world.
The event will feature a panel discussion led by Deb Singh, Farrah Khan and Anita Khanna, South Asian women involved in their communities. Local artists will also be performing and there will be an expo of community organizations.
If you are a community organization wishing to reserve a booth for the expo, please click here.
