Attendees to the Green Living Show receive FREE admission by recycling “acceptable” electronic waste at the Green Living Show compliments of Samsung:

- March 10-11: Yorkdale Shopping Centre (Toronto)
- March 17-18: Markville Shopping Centre (Markham)
- March 24-25: Pickering Town Centre (Pickering)
- March 31-April 1: Burlington Home Store (Burlington)
- April 7-8: Erin Mills Town Centre (Mississauga)
- Elementary schools get FREE admission when they participate in the Passion for E-recycling School Challenge: Find out more!
- running March 6 – May 15, elementary schools within select Ontario school boards can register to host e-waste drop-off depots at their school.
- The school that collects the most e-waste by weight will win a generous $10,000 technology grant for their school, donated by Samsung Electronics Canada.
- All participating schools who register before April 10 will receive FREE tickets to attend the Green Living Show (April 13-15).

2012 Green Toronto Award finalists announced
The City of Toronto and Green Living Enterprises are pleased to announce the finalists for the 2012 Green Toronto Awards. The City’s environmental awards of excellence recognize the individuals, organizations and companies helping to lead the way to a cleaner, greener Toronto.
“I am delighted to see so many Toronto residents, organizations and businesses greening our city in so many innovative ways,” said Councillor Norm Kelly (Ward 40 Scarborough-Agincourt), Chair of the City’s Parks and Environment Committee. “We are inspired by their commitment and success.”
Each winner will receive an award and $5,000 to further their work on the environment or donate to an environmental charity, courtesy of award sponsors.
Winners will be announced at the Green Toronto Awards ceremony on Friday, April 13 at 7 p.m. on the Main Stage at the Green Living Show, Direct Energy Centre, Exhibition Place. The public is welcome to attend and there is no fee for admission.
