The 2010 Social Audit was a faith community assessment of the status of poverty in Ontario, Canada.
ISARC (Interfaith Social Assistance Reform Coalition) provided community hearings for the most vulnerable across Ontario to tell their stories of living in poverty and give us their ideas for change at the political level.
The 2010 “Social Audit sought to communicate the social effects of the current Ontario government’s policies and actions towards people living in poverty and our society as a whole.”
The results of the 2010 Social Audit that was conducted in York Region will be presented at the following meeting:

Hi Everyone
As all of you have either participated in or shown interest in the ISARC Social Audit, we wanted you to know that we will be presenting the York Region Audit report to the Community and Health Services Committee on Wednesday January 19th.
Many have indicated an interest in attending to hear the presentation and show their support for the Audit and its findings. We would welcome any who are able to come out on the 19 th to do so. Immediately following the presentation, we will gather in the Great Hall at the Region Building, for a group photo.
