TTC (Toronto Transit Commission) track work at Queen Street West and Spadina Avenue in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, involves:
- reconstructing all track switches within the intersection
- reconstruction of both passenger islands on the Spadina streetcar right-of-way
Consequently, the following Toronto intersection closure and TTC diversions will occur from July 9 to July 23 inclusive:
- Full closure of downtown Toronto intersection – Queen and Spadina
- The intersection of Queen Street West and Spadina Avenue in downtown Toronto will be closed to traffic in all four directions
- from Monday, July 9 at 5 a.m. to Monday, July 23 at 6 p.m.
- Alternative eastbound and westbound routes include:
- Dundas Street
- Richmond Street
- Adelaide Street
- King Street
- Bathurst Street and University Avenue can be used as alternative routes for northbound and southbound traffic
- Pedestrian access to all businesses in the area will be maintained
- The intersection of Queen Street West and Spadina Avenue in downtown Toronto will be closed to traffic in all four directions
- TTC diversions due to track work will happen for:
- 501-301 Queen streetcars which will divert
- Via Shaw Street, King Street and Church Street
- There will be no replacement bus service between Shaw Street and Church Street
- TTC customers should walk south and board the streetcars on King Street
- Customers can also board the 501-301 streetcar east or westbound at King or St Andrew Stations
- Replacement buses on the 510 Spadina will divert:
- Southbound via:
- Spadina Avenue
- Dundas Street
- Bathurst Street
- and Adelaide Street back to Spadina Avenue
- Northbound via:
- Spadina Avenue
- Adelaide Street
- Peter Street
- Queen Street
- Beverley Street
- Dundas Street
- and Spadina Avenue back to route
- Southbound via:
- 501-301 Queen streetcars which will divert

Full closure of downtown Toronto intersection – Queen and Spadina
The intersection of Queen Street West and Spadina Avenue in downtown Toronto will be closed to traffic in all four directions for TTC streetcar track replacement work for two weeks – from Monday, July 9 at 5 a.m. to Monday, July 23 at 6 p.m.
Alternative eastbound and westbound routes include Dundas Street, Richmond Street, Adelaide Street and King Street, while Bathurst Street and University Avenue can be used as alternative routes for northbound and southbound traffic.
During the closure, pedestrian access to all businesses in the area will be maintained.
