A section of the Gardiner Expressway, from Kipling Ave. to Royal York Rd., is undergoing repair work from November 14 – 16, which requires the following two closures:

  • The eastbound express lanes of the Gardiner Expressway will be closed from Kipling Ave. to Royal York Rd. from Wednesday, November 14 at 10 p.m. to Thursday, November 15 at 5 a.m
    • During that time, traffic will be diverted to the collector lanes
  • The eastbound collector lanes of the Gardiner Expressway will be closed from Kipling Ave. to Royal York Rd. from Thursday, November 15 at 10 p.m. to Friday November 16 at 5 a.m.
    • During that time, traffic will be diverted to the express lanes

Gardiner Expressway partially closed overnight for repair work

The Transportation Services Division will be performing road work on a section of the Gardiner Expressway from November 14 to 16. In order to undertake this work safely, two full closures for the Gardiner Expressway will be required.

The closures are as follows:

• The eastbound express lanes of the Gardiner Expressway will be closed from Kipling Ave. to Royal York Rd. from Wednesday, November 14 at 10 p.m. to Thursday, November 15 at 5 a.m. During that time, traffic will be diverted to the collector lanes.

• The eastbound collector lanes of the Gardiner Expressway will be closed from Kipling Ave. to Royal York Rd. from Thursday, November 15 at 10 p.m. to Friday November 16 at 5 a.m. During that time, traffic will be diverted to the express lanes.
