On October 15, 2013, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) issued the notice below regarding a recall of certain Verger Belliveau Orchard brand cider because it may contain patulin, a mycotoxin. This product was distributed for retail in New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island.
