The Interfaith Social Assistance Reform Coalition (ISARC) gives us the following update regarding their response to the Commission on the Review of Social Assistance in Ontario:
“ISARC has prepared its official 2012 Prebudget Submission to the Ontario government informed by the recent release of the Drummond Report. ISARC has also prepared its official response to the Commission on the Review of Social Assistance in Ontario. Please view these materials and use them to inform your faith communities own response.
ISARC has heard from people and families living on low-incomes, encouraged and organized discussions with faith communities in all parts of Ontario to participate in the dialogue.
The deadline for the response to the Commission reviewing social assistance programs is March 16, 2012. Don’t delay in submitting a response. Contact us at info@isarc.ca for more information.“
