Join the celebration and ring in the New Year on December 31, 2014 at Nathan Phillips Square in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

This FREE event begins at 8 pm with atmospheric performers and plenty of fantastic food options from local food trucks. The stage show kicks off at 10 pm with one of Toronto’s leading DJs and two live sets from top local bands. Mayor John Tory will count in the new year and the brilliant fireworks presentation at midnight.

New Year’s Eve Safe Rides: TTC Holiday Service Schedule
This New Year’s Eve, Torontonians can enjoy FREE, safe rides to and from their festivities across the city. The Toronto Transit Commission is offering complimentary, extended service from 7 p.m. on December 31, 2014, to 7 a.m. on January 1, 2015, including subway service until approximately 4 a.m.
Subway
December 31, New Year’s Eve:
- Most routes with Monday – Friday late-evening service extended until 4:00 a.m.
- New Year’s Eve last subway times:
- Line 1: north from Union Station at 3:30 a.m.
- Line 2: east or west from Bloor-Yonge Station at 3:37 a.m.
- Line 3: east from Kennedy Station at 4:07 a.m.
- Line 4: east from Sheppard-Yonge Station at 3:58 a.m.
January 1, New Years Day:
- Subway starts at 9:00 a.m.
Bus and Streetcar
Please check your bus or streetcar route for holiday service changes.
Holiday Special Group Pass
“Avoid the hassles of driving and the high cost of parking downtown.” Get your holiday special group pass at all subway stations.
Unlimited one day travel on all regular TTC routes for a group of up to 6 people, maximum 2 adults, every day through January 4, 2015.
