Come to the official opening of Artificial Turf Soccer Field at Concord/Thornhill Park!
- Vaughan residents are invited to attend the official opening of the Concord Thornhill Regional Park artificial turf senior soccer field
- The event will include greetings by Mayor and Members of Council, a ribbon-cutting ceremony and soccer game activities.
- The City of Vaughan invested more than $1 million in the new artificial turf soccer field along with financial contributions from the community.
- The new field adds to the growing list of more than 200 sports fields maintained by staff throughout the City of Vaughan.
- Concord Thornhill Regional Park artificial turf senior soccer field is built to FIFA 1 Star standards.
- It features bleacher seating for up to 140 spectators.
