Gardiner Expressway closed overnight this weekend for bridge maintenance
The City of Toronto’s Transportation Services division will be performing bridge work on the Gardiner Expressway on January 8 and 9. In order to undertake this work safely, overnight closure of the Gardiner Expressway will be required.
Details of closure:
The westbound lanes of the Gardiner Expressway will be closed from Spadina Avenue to the Humber River on Saturday, January 8 at 11 p.m. to Sunday, January 9 at 9 a.m. for the bridge work.
Alternative routes available for motorists during this closure include the Queensway and Lake Shore Boulevard. Whenever possible, the public is encouraged to consider using public transit as a convenient alternative.
