Get ready, get set to hit the slopes at the City of Toronto’s Ski and Snowboard Centres this season. With the TTC conveniently located near the hills and with reasonable lift, equipment and instructional rates, there is no reason not to enjoy the winter weather.
Centennial Park Ski and Snowboard Centre is located at 256 Centennial Park Rd. and operates a T-bar lift with three beginner/intermediate runs. Earl Bales Ski and Snowboard Centre is located at 4169 Bathurst St. and features one beginner hill with a rope tow and three intermediate hills with a double chairlift.
Both facilities are operated by Toronto Parks, Forestry and Recreation and offer snowboard and downhill skiing equipment rentals, including helmets. The use of helmets is mandatory at City facilities for participants of all ages in the following groups: Board of Education program and group participants, instructional program participants, freestyle and ski race program participants and instructional staff, on-hill supervisors and ski patrol members.
