South Asian Health Equity Report Launch: 17 May 2010
CASSA invites you to attend the South Asian Health Equity Report Launch on Monday, 17 May 2010, from 10 am – 12 pm at the Auditorium, North York Central Library (5120 Young St). The report is a consolidation of existing research highlighting that the South Asian communities in Ontario experience health inequities that result from an unjust social structure. These inequities are avoidable through targeted community-initiated and oriented actions that can challenge the social determinants of health, including racialization and poverty. A panel will discuss the topics in the report.
