Road closures overnight for transportation of beer vats
A number of vehicles will be transporting beer vats through city streets from January 10 to 12. In order to facilitate this move safely, a series of road closures will be required.
Details of the closures:
• Highway 27, between Steeles Avenue and Albion Road, will be closed from Monday, January 10 at 9 p.m. to Tuesday, January 11 at 1 a.m.
• Highway 27, from Albion Road to the Woodbine Mohawk Raceway grandstand entrance road, will be closed on Tuesday, January 11 from 1 a.m. to 6 a.m.
From Tuesday, January 11 at 9 p.m. to Wednesday, January 12 at 6 a.m., portions of the following roads will be closed to accommodate the route: Carlingview Drive, Disco Road, Attwell Drive, Belfield Road, Highway 27, Farnboro Road, Attwell Drive, Dixon Road and Carlingview Drive. The roads will be reopened to traffic after the vehicles involved in the transportation of the vats pass the area and the utilities are re-installed.
