Luminato Festival is Toronto‘s international multi-arts festival for “people open to having art change their outlook on the world.” For 10 days each June, Luminato Festival transforms Toronto‘s theatres, parks and public spaces with hundreds of events celebrating theatre, dance, music, literature, food, visual arts, magic, film, and more.

Luminato Festival announced The Festival Hub and its highly anticipated musical lineup at David Pecaut Square.

• “From the ingenious surfside design of CARDBOARD BEACH by Cuba‘s Los Carpinteros to a sizzling musical trifecta, opening night at the Festival Hub kicks off ten days of cultural and cross-cultural brilliance while igniting the Festival‘s sweeping celebration of the Americas.”

“This year, more than ever, the Festival Hub will be the heart and muscle of the Luminato Festival. With the Festival Hub being fully licensed, it will become a destination for lovers of both food and drink. The Festival Hub will, for the first time, also feature a second stage for more entertainment at the end of the work-day and prior to the evening concerts on the main stage. This year will see more performers on the main stage that are absolutely one-of-a-kind. They will feature both artistic and cross-disciplinary collaboration, as well as a strong focus on the Americas and especially the Caribbean and Latin America.”

The Festival Hub is the “destination of choice” throughout Luminato Festival‘s 10 days and nights.

• Open daily from noon until the wee hours, The Festival Hub will always be buzzing with FREE and ticketed concerts and events, food programs, Luminato Live with the artists – and for the first tim ever, the Special Weekend Concert Edition at The Festival Hub: three spectacular artists at the Festival Hub for only $35 a show.
