- Beaches International Jazz Festival is a FREE, open-air event committed to presenting quality jazz to all.
- The Festival begins at Woodbine Park with concerts held at multiple outdoor stages that feature a mix of local up-and-coming artists and headlining performances.
- Mainstage performances at Kew Gardens and concerts held along the Beach Boardwalk welcome both local and international artists for festival attendees to enjoy.
- The Beaches International Jazz Festival’s signature event is Streetfest, July 25-27 with the following highlights.
- Upwards of 50 Canadian bands entertain you along a 2 km stretch of Queen Street East which is closed for this festival.

- How EAB kills trees;
- Basic ash tree identification; and
- Treatment, removal and replanting options.
- You will also receive brief training on how to go door-to-door in your neighbourhood to inform others on what can be done about this invasive pest, such as treating healthy ash and planting new trees.

Weekend events with road closures in Toronto
Three special events this weekend will involve road closures. Residents and visitors are encouraged to come out and enjoy these events. Businesses in the areas affected are open to pedestrian traffic, but some roads will be closed to vehicles.
Festivals and other special events are important to the city, injecting hundreds of millions of dollars annually into Toronto’s economy and they are enjoyed each year by local residents.
In addition to road closures related to special events, a significant amount of road work is taking place in the city. People are encouraged to take public transit as a greener, faster and more affordable way of getting to their destinations.
Those who need to drive in the general vicinity of special events should allow extra time to get to and from their destination.
