TTC’s (Toronto Transit Commission’s) elevators are specially designed for people in wheelchairs, scooters, walkers, with other mobility devices or baby strollers.
However, the TTC will be shutting down the elevator at St George subway station for scheduled maintenance from Sunday, January 13 to late March 2013, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada:
- Customers wishing to transfer from the Bloor-Danforth Subway to the Yonge-University-Spadina Subway, or vice versa, can do so at Bloor-Yonge Station
- If you normally use St George station, you can use the TTC’s internet trip planner at ttc.ca to plan your journey using alternate bus routes or alternate, accessible subway stations
- To date, 31 Subway/RT stations are accessible

The elevator at the TTC’s St George subway station will be out of service from Sunday, January 13 to late March 2013 for scheduled maintenance.
