These fruit products contain pieces of Daniella brand mangoes which have been recalled by the US supplier Splendid Products due to potential contamination withh Salmonella Braenderup.
All Best Before date codes of the following Ready Pack brand fruit blends, products of USA, are affected by this alert.

There have been no reported illnesses specifically associated with the consumption of these Ready Pac fruit products. However, there have been several confirmed illnesses in Canada and the USA associated with the consumption of the Daniella brand mangoes.
Food contaminated with Salmonella may not look or smell spoiled. Consumption of food contaminated with these bacteria may cause salmonellosis, a foodborne illness. In young children, the elderly and people with weakened immune systems, salmonellosis may cause serious and sometimes deadly infections. In otherwise healthy people, salmonellosis may cause short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, vomiting, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhoea. Long-term complications may include severe arthritis. If you think you have illness symptoms related to salmonellosis, please contact your family doctor.
The importer, Canada Safeway Ltd., Calgary, AB is voluntarily recalling the affected products from the marketplace. The CFIA is monitoring the effectiveness of the recall.

Ces produits contiennent des mangues de marque Daniella ayant fait l’objet d’un rappel par le fournisseur américain Splendid Products en raison d’une contamination possible à la bactérie Salmonella Braenderup.
Tous les codes « meilleur avant » des mélanges de fruits de marque Ready Pac suivants, produits aux États‑Unis, sont visés par la présente mise en garde.

Les aliments contaminés par Salmonella ne présentent pas nécessairement d’altération visible ni d’odeur suspecte. La consommation d’aliments contaminés par cette bactérie peut causer la salmonellose, une maladie d’origine alimentaire. Chez les jeunes enfants, les gens âgés et les personnes dont le système immunitaire est affaibli, la salmonellose peut causer des infections graves, parfois mortelles. Chez les personnes en bonne santé, la salmonellose peut se manifester par des symptômes de courte durée comme une forte fièvre, des maux de tête violents, des vomissements, des nausées, des douleurs abdominales et de la diarrhée. La salmonellose peut entraîner des complications à long terme comme une forme grave d’arthrite. Si vous pensez avoir des symptômes de la salmonellose, veuillez communiquer avec votre médecin.
L’importateur, Canada Safeway Ltd. de Calgary (Alb.), retire volontairement du marché les produits touchés. L’ACIA surveille l’efficacité du rappel.
