OPENING FACE-OFF PARTY: FRIDAY, March 16, 2012:
- 7:30 -11: 30PM at Wildflowers Cafe,
225 Main Street South, Newmarket, Ontario
905-235-7771 - You are invited to drop by for the “Opening Face-Off Party”, a traditional kick off to the annual free youth road hockey event.
- The evening will consist of select live entertainment and finger foods provided with a cash bar.

The All Star Show:
- A musical tribute to the sponsors, supporters and volunteers
- Featuring Host Funnyman Tom Pearson and musical performers
- There is no cover but donations are accepted.
- Proceeds to the $1000 Mike Thornhill Youth Friendship Award.

Special Event: It’s Game On This March Break at the 2012 Newmarket Mitsubishi Road Hockey Challenge
- 9:30 – 6:00 PM: DJ music and comedy play by play accompany special event; live entertainment halftime and ending
- Location: Riverwalk Commons at 200 Doug Duncan Drive, Newmarket
- Register Your Neighbourhood Team
- 2012 Friendly Neighbourhood Youth Road Hockey Challenge is FREE to all youths 12-18
- Pick-up games for all ages including parent-tots area
- Live youthful entertainment and comedy play-by-play with Gripes
- The road hockey tourney is based around The Newmarket Community Centre and registration area inside and out
- We will be selling hot dogs, hamburgers and refreshments to aid in expenses
- Tournament players eat for FREE
- Proceeds from food sales will help raise the last $500 needed for the $1,000 Youth Education Award, so come out and eat one!
