Mayor Ford to launch 2011 City of Toronto Toy Drive
To help those in need this holiday season, Mayor Rob Ford and Toronto City Manager Joseph Pennachetti will launch the 2011 City of Toronto Toy Drive today. The Mayor, City Manager and a few young helpers will start the drive by building the first pile of toys.

The toys and gift cards collected at City sites will be equally distributed through established toy drive programs run by Global Toronto/Toronto Firefighters and CP24 CHUM Christmas Wish that help Toronto children and families in need during the holidays.
