Toronto Animal Services wants you to fall in love with an adorable cat
This fall, the City of Toronto’s Animal Services is encouraging residents to adopt a cat and make it a beloved member of the family. The “Fall in Love” cat adoption campaign begins today and runs until November 13. Cat adoptions for the two-week period are just $25 – a saving of almost $60 off the regular adoption price.
“The fall is a perfect time to introduce a new kitten or cat to the home. Most families are in a routine at this time of year, and routines are good for pets,” said Elizabeth Glibbery, Manager of Toronto Animal Services. “There are some great, affectionate kittens and cats, as well as some very independent ones. There’s a cat for everyone.”
All cats available for adoption are vaccinated, micro-chipped, spayed or neutered, vet checked and de-wormed.
Dogs, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, birds and many other animals are also available for adoption.
For anyone unable to adopt a pet but who wants to contribute to an improved life for these animals, a donation can be made on the website or in person at any one of Animal Services’ four animal shelters.
