It’s harvest season in Ben Nobleman Park Community Orchard!
Orchard founders Growing for Green will hold their second annual Harvest Festival.
Come to the Ben Nobleman Park Community Orchard Harvest Festival and enjoy:
- FREE fruit and snacks,
- fun children’s activities,
- orchard tours,
- educational booths,
- live music,
- the Loonie Raffle (a loonie a ticket or three for a toonie) where you will have the chance to win thousands of dollars worth of prizes donated by our fantastic local businesses – check the following website for a sneak peek at www.communityorchard.ca.
- plus, Toronto Beekeeper’s Cooperative will be there with a hive filled with real bees,
- Not Far From The Tree will be expertly pressing cider,
- Garden Jane will host some fun activities for kids, and
- view a martial arts demo by Classical Martial Arts.
“Growing for Green is a voluntary eco-gardening group based in Toronto’s Ward 21.
Our Harvest Festival partners this year are:
- City of Toronto Parks, Forestry and Recreation;
- Not Far From The Tree;
- The Toronto Beekeepers Cooperative; and
- Local Enhancement and Appreciation of Forests (LEAF).
